HOPE IN THE MOUNTAINS, DIG DEEP - Helping Raleigh County Community

On an unusually warm late-April afternoon in Rhodell, representatives from Hope in the Mountains, the Southern District of the West Virginia United Methodist Conference, Dig Deep, and the Raleigh County Public Service District gathered in the parking lot of the Rhodell Church of God to share free hot dogs and clean water with the residents of this tiny coal community tucked in the mountains of southwestern Raleigh County. Church Ministries Spring Into Action

McDowell County, WV — From clearing flood-damaged homes to building hope for a hurricane survivor, local ministry groups spent May in relentless service across multiple states.  Members of the church-led volunteer teams contributed their time and skills through three major mission efforts, marking one of the busiest and most impactful months in recent memory.
