NEW VISION DEPOT WORK DAYS
On two Saturdays in July, members from the Raleigh Shared Ministries churches volunteered at the New Vision Depot. On July 12, ladies from the Southern District United Women in Faith worked at auditing cleaning kits (formerly known as flood buckets). SOUTHERN DISTRICT OFFICE IS MOVING
The Southern District Office, located at 213 S.Heber Street, is moving into Beckley Community UMC at 215 S. Heber Street, Beckley. A group of Praying Pelicans from Grand Rapids, Michigan, came on July 14 and July 16 to help clean out the rooms for the new offices, paint, and move the heavy furniture from the old office to the new office.
